Edit Custom Chore

If you've created a custom chore, you can change its information whenever needed.

You can update details such as:

• Chore title
• Description
• Category
• Minimum recommended age
• Default reward minutes
• Whether photo proof is required

Double tap the custom chore to open the Edit Chore screen.

After making your changes, tap Save Changes to update the chore.

Important

Only custom chores created by your family can be edited.

The built-in chores included with Barnacle Bucks are read-only and cannot be changed or deleted. This ensures every family starts with a consistent library of common chores while still allowing each family to create their own custom chores when needed.

If you need a built-in chore to work differently, simply create your own custom version and assign that instead.
